The Session is the governing board of the church. It consists of 9 active Ruling Elders, split into three equal classes. The session is responsible for governing the congregation and guiding its witness to the sovereign activity of God in the world, so that the congregation is and becomes a community of faith, hope, love, and witness. In light of this charge, the session has the power and responsibility to:
provide that the Word of God may be truly preached and heard.
provide that the Sacraments may be rightly administered and received.
nurture the covenant community of disciples of Christ.

Summary of the Board of Deacons
The Board of Deacons consists of 9 deacons who have been elected and ordained by the congregation. Like the session, they are equally divided into three classes.
The responsibility of the board of deacons is to, along with pastor, support the pastoral care needs of the congregation. This is done through a variety of ways, including pastoral care visits, correspondence, the giving of meals, financial support in emergencies to members of the congregation.
