Music Director/Organist Search

We’re searching for our next Music Director/Organist!

The First Presbyterian Church of Lansdowne is seeking a part-time Music Director/Organist to lead our music ministry in collaboration with the Pastor and church leadership. We are a diverse, multi-ethnic 140-member congregation that worships in a predominantly Reformed Presbyterian liturgical style while embracing various musical genres and settings. Our congregation includes a diverse group of musicians with varying skill levels, both instrumentalists and vocalists. The organ is a 1987 Casavant (33 Ranks, 23 Independent Stops, 1640 Pipes), dedicated at the church's centennial. We also have a 1963 Baldwin R Grand Piano (Rebuilt in 2014) and a 4 Octave Schulmerich Handbell set.

As a congregation, we express our love of God through nurture and support of our neighbors; acting as Christ acts towards the stranger, the outcast, the scorned, and the shunned. All are welcome in our community: all genders, all sexual orientations, all nationalities, and the ever-expanding diversity of God’s creation.

The Music Director/Organist is supervised by and is accountable to the Pastor.
